21 Weeks...a big week!

Well this week has been about as eventful as last week was un-eventful!  First of all, nesting has kicked in in full force!!!  It doesn't help that I love a good project and we have a house full of them around here, but now that we've started, yikes.  I'm ready to tackle it all.  And as long as I don't sit down and take a break, my energy is keeping up.  If I sit down, I'm done for.  We currently have 4 rooms in transition.  The nursery is currently the spare bedroom which is going to move to the office/craft room.  The office/craft room is going to move to the finished part of the basement which is currently storage.  The storage is going to all move to the unfinished side along with the salon space.  This week so far I've thoroughly cleaned and organized the unfinished side and have gotten everything moved over from the finished side.  We have storage all in there now and the salon set up - for being unfinished, it looks SO much better than I had anticipated.  The finished side is cleaned and holes in the walls are filled.  Today carpet cleaners came and cleaned the basement, basement stairs, both living rooms and the dining room- that feels great!  Next step is painting the basement.

The big news of the week is that baby boy FINALLY has a name!!!!  This is HUGE.  We have had beyond a terrible time finding a name for this little guy.  We have each gone through thousands of names and have spent hours laying in bed together going over names.  It didn't come this hard with Adilyn, but this one was tough.  While Mark liked the more traditional names, I liked the more unique names.  Mark came home the other day and said "throughout the day today I made a list of 10 names" and all I could say was "uh-oh" because I just knew how badly it had been going.  Well I had a maybe on one.  Then the next day he came home and said he had a change of heart on one of our top names that was my pick and that he liked it and it just felt right.  So, it's official - baby has a name!

Another thing happening this week is he's kicking so much more!  All of a sudden he's picked up the pace with it and I'm feeling it more often and stronger.  Such a relief.  It's so great to feel him moving and know he's just active and happy in there :)

This week has just been fun.  Between getting the projects going, finding a name, and definitely feeling pregnant and feeling kicks, this has been a week of it really sinking in.
